Advantages to Learning Pickleball

Pickleball is similar to but less “aggressive” than tennis. It is not quite a as physically demanding because there is less ground to cover. It is also less intense because it usually requires less movement and can result in fewer injuries. It also combines elements of ping-pong and badminton.

All in all, pickleball is quite easy for beginners to learn, especially in an active adult community with other residents.

There are five main rules: one bounce per side, ball staying inbounds, ball served at baseline and serves not allowed to land in the no-volley zone.

Pickleball is a game of skill and technique. You want to make sure you do not scoop up the serve or miss shots, especially the centerline ones. Your serving technique has to (must) be on point.

The etiquettes of pickleball include: safety, fair play, sportsmanship, enjoyment and proper court shoes. Furthermore, pickleball provides moderate exercise and helps keep the body active.

It can also help with weight loss and the prevention of hypertension, stroke or heart attack. It is a great aerobic workout that boosts the cardiovascular system while putting a lot less stress or strain on joints or muscles.  Many of the 55 plus communities in Colorado like that of have pickleball along with a lot of other wonderful ammenities.
