One of the best parts of living in the South Jordan area is the variety of outdoor and entertainment activities at your disposal. Below, we’ve created a list of some of our favorites:
The Hub
Wander on over to Daybreak’s new information studio! This is the place where you start your tour of the community and learn about the Daybreak community. While you’re there, check out the chef’s garden and community pool or grab a bite to eat at Biscott’s Bakery & Café.
Oquirrh Lake and Trails
Oquirrh Lake lies in the heart of our community, with more than 30 miles of trails, most of which are paved and accessible, that meander throughout the neighborhood as well as around the lake. Rent a row boat or kayak, take the family fishing, or lounge around the Waterside Club and beach area. This lake is exclusively for Daybreak residents.
Yellow Fork Canyon County Park
You live in one of the most beautiful states in the U.S., so lace up those hiking boots and explore your surroundings! This trail is a 6.8-mile loop near Herriman, Utah that features a river and offers fantastic views of the Oquirrh mountains and the Salt Lake Valley. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash.
Mulligans Golf and Games
Looking for a little golfing fun? This entertainment center offers two 9-hole courses, a lighted driving range, two miniature golf courses, batting cages, and top-line golf equipment to play around with. You even have access to PGA golf professionals to help you perfect your swing.
Gale Center of History and Culture
Open Tuesday through Friday, this center offers a unique look at the history of South Jordan and Americana. With its interactive displays and a hands-on approach to learning, it’s a wonderful place to visit with (grand)children to help them visualize the past to make the future better.
